The Architect of the Capitol's Acquisition & Material Management Division is structured into two branches: the Contracts Branch and the Small Purchases Branch. The Contracts Branch is responsible for soliciting and awarding AOC procurements and agreements exceeding $100,000. The Small Purchase Branch awards AOC procurements of $100,000 or less. These branches are led by the Chief Acquisition & Material Management Officer.

West House Underground Garage Interior Rehabilitation

The West House Underground Garage (WHUG) Interior Rehabilitation project will replace the deteriorated structural concrete and upgrade the fire protection, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The structural repairs will be completed using the hydro-demolition method which uses high-pressured water to blast through deteriorated concrete. This method exposes the concrete to a specified depth and also allows the replacement of corroded reinforcing steel.
