AOC Library Buildings and Grounds, under the direction of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), is responsible for the day-to-day structural, mechanical and grounds care of the Library of Congress. This includes the Library's three buildings on Capitol Hill and a number of facilities beyond Washington, D.C., including The Packard Campus of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center in Culpepper, Virginia. This division is led by Superintendent Greg Simmons.

A new selection of Civil War-related documents and artifacts will be on display beginning March 12 through September 8, 2012, in the Capitol Visitor Center’s Exhibition Hall.
