The AOC also received a special award in the category of “Ease of Accessibility to Multi-Media Information.” This award recognized the AOC’s PAR for the best government-wide example of a report utilizing mobile technology, employing videos to supplement the report’s text and containing hyperlinks to additional information on the agency’s website.

The CEAR is the highest form of recognition in federal government financial reporting. It recognizes federal organizations for producing informative, high-quality reports that provide clear insight into their agency’s spending and program performance.

In the virtual award ceremony held on August 6, 2020, 24 federal agencies and departments were honored with a CEAR award for FY 2019 and just 14 federal agencies were further recognized with a special Best-in-Class award. The receipt of two awards places the AOC in a select group within the government financial management community.

To access the PAR online, please visit the AOC’s website at: www.aoc.gov/par. Alternatively, to view the report from your mobile tablet, please visit the AppStore from your iPad or Google play from your Android tablet and search for “Architect of the Capitol.”
