Architect of the Capitol Honored for Excellence in Accountability Reporting

The CEAR® is the highest form of recognition in federal government financial reporting. It recognizes federal organizations for producing informative, high-quality reports that provide clear insight into their agency's spending and program performance. This marks the 14th year the AOC has been recognized with this award.

The AOC also received a special Best-in-Class Award for the FY 2025 report's engaging elements that tell the agency's story: 

"The report begins with an excellent introductory section that provides insights into the agency’s mission and values, engaging the reader to learn more about the agency. The overall report is exceptionally well organized, visually appealing, and written in clear, concise language, with a citizen-centric focus that effectively communicates the agency’s value to the taxpayer. Further, the report is enhanced with infographics, videos, hyperlinks, and interesting photographs, including personnel recognition, that bring the agency's mission to life."
