Thank you for taking the time to do this! I've seen similar ones (but not quite as nice) in some parks in London. It is refreshing to see some compassion at work.

A wonderful example of what compassion and creativity can accomplish. Ducks lived in the region long before the capitol's founding.

You can actually see the ramps in Google Maps.
Go to the US Capital, and zoom in on the curved pool directly West of the Capital.
Nearest to the Capital, on the East side, there is sort-of a ‘dent’ in the wall of the pool, and the ramps are on the corners of the ‘dent’, facing West.
