The Fallen Heroes Flag Program was signed into law on May 16, 2016. It provides for a United States flag to be flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of a Fallen Hero who has lost their life in the line of duty.
Please note:
For the purpose of this program, a Fallen Hero is defined as a clergy member, firefighter, law enforcement officer, member of a rescue squad or ambulance crew or public safety officer who died in the line of duty.
Only one request per Fallen Hero will be processed.
The request must be made within 180 days of the Fallen Hero's death.
