The incumbent assesses HOB strategic priorities and assists in developing a business plan targeting improvements in both effectiveness and efficiency of AOC priorities and objectives as outlined in the AOC Strategic Plan and Core Values.

As a Pipefitter, you will serve as a Journeyman level Pipefitter and/or Plumber performing troubleshooting, repairing and installing plumbing systems and components in assigned Capitol Complex work sites that include monumental iconic historic buildings with a complex infrastructure on Capitol Hill.

The Electronics Mechanic (Fire & Electronics) is responsible for performing journey level Fire Protection System equipment installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.

The incumbent is a Facility Operations Specialist (Utility Systems) for the Capitol Power Plant (CPP) and is responsible for the operation and operational maintenance of the steam and chilled water Utility Distribution Systems (UDS) and associated auxiliary equipment.

This position is in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings, Painting Branch. Serves as a skilled journey level Painter-Refinisher and does coating work on furnishings and buildings.

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Utilities Power Plant Operations, Assistant Director Engineering Division, Instrumentation and Controls Branch. The Instrumentation Controls Technician will provide expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, installing and repairing state of the art digital, analog and industrial equipment typically found in power plants.

This position is located within the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Utilities and Power Plant Operations. The High Voltage Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high voltage electric power-controlling equipment and/or distribution lines. The ability to work on a rotating shift will be required. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industrial and high voltage substation experience with an electrical master's license.
