The selectee will serve will on projects involving the study, design, construction, rehabilitation, inspection and/or testing of structural systems and their associated components to include but not limited to including building frames, foundations, tunnels, retaining structures, vibration‐sensitive elements, blast‐resistant components, and historic preservation.

The selectee will be responsible for developing, reviewing, monitoring and analyzing planning, design and construction schedules on a broad range of building projects during programming, planning, design and construction phases.

The House Office Buildings seeks temporary Decorative Plasterers for the upcoming 120th Congressional Moves Transition. This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), House Office Buildings, Painting Branch. Decorative plasterers will serve as journey level Plasterers and perform standard painting tasks when necessary. This requires a 6 day a week schedule, and overtime may be required and in some instances it may be mandatory.

The AOC seeks temporary Painters for the upcoming 120th Congressional Moves Transition. Painters will use standard methods and special finishing techniques to perform coating work on furnishings and buildings. The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings is seeking a journey level Sheet Metal Mechanic for the Assistant Superintendent Tenant Services Division, Sheet Metal Section to form, join and assemble and install sheet metal components of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, copper roofs and kitchen appliances.

This position is in the Architect of the Capitol, Senate Office Buildings, Painting Branch. Serves as a skilled journey level Painter-Refinisher and does coating work on furnishings and buildings.

This position is located within the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Utilities and Power Plant Operations. The High Voltage Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high voltage electric power-controlling equipment and/or distribution lines. The ability to work on a rotating shift will be required. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industrial and high voltage substation experience with an electrical master's license.
