John Gorrie Statue

This statue of John Gorrie was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by Florida in 1914. A physician, scientist, inventor and humanitarian, Gorrie is considered the father of refrigeration and air-conditioning.

John Hanson Statue

This statue of John Hanson was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by Maryland in 1903. Hanson was one of the strongest colonial advocates of independence.

John McLoughlin Statue

This statue of John McLoughlin was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by Oregon in 1953.

John Sevier Statue

Tennessee gave this statue to the National Statuary Hall Collection in 1931. Belle Kinney and Leopold F. Scholz are the only married artists to collaborate on statues in the collection.

John Stark Statue

This statue of John Stark was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by New Hampshire in 1894. Stark fought in several decisive battles during the American Revolution and achieved a reputation as a leader and shrewd tactician.

John Trumbull painted four scenes related to the Revolutionary War for the U.S. Capitol Rotunda.

This statue of John Winthrop was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by Massachusetts in 1876.

Johnny Cash Statue

Singer and songwriter John R. "Johnny" Cash (1932-2003) was a towering figure in 20th-century American music. Arkansas gave this statue to the National Statuary Hall Collection in 2024. Before this commission, artist Kevin Kresse worked on a bust of Cash for a series of sculptures depicting Arkansas musicians.

Jonathan Trumbull Statue

This statue of Jonathan Trumbull was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by Connecticut in 1872.

This statue of Joseph Ward was given to the National Statuary Hall Collection by South Dakota in 1963.
